MLS Status Abbreviations

These are the status abbreviations that EcoRealty clients will see in their daily email updates, which alert you to any change of status, new listings, listings under agreement, etc.

  • ACT = Active listing
  • BOM = Back on Market (properties that were under deposit but are now back on the market)
  • BUP = Backup offers possible (under deposit, but they are entertaining backup offers in case the deal falls through for some reason). Cf. UAG.
  • CAN = Cancelled listing
  • EXP = Expired listing
  • EXT = Extended listing (listing agent's agreement with seller has expired, but has been extended)
  • NEW = New listing
  • PCG = Price Change
  • RAC = Reactivated listing (listing agent's agreement with seller has expired, but has been renewed)
  • SLD = Sold (closing has taken place)
  • UAG = Under Agreement (offer has been accepted, no backup offers entertained)
  • WDN = Withdrawn (seller has withdrawn the property from the market)
